The EGO 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium™ Battery uses industry-leading technology to deliver Power Beyond Belief™. Its patented ARC Lithium™ design keeps the battery from overheating by pushing heat away so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, shock-resistant design protects batteries from drops and the elements. Intelligent power management monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize power, performance, and runtime. This 7.5Ah battery features a fuel gauge with built-in indicator lights that show how much runtime is remaining in 20 percent increments. The 7.5Ah battery fully charges in 45 minutes with the EGO POWER+ Turbo Charger (CH7000), 60 minutes with the Rapid Charger (CH5500), 100 minutes with the 320W Charger (CH3200), and 145 minutes with the Standard Charger (CH2100). The second worked fine and still does for a while, but the bars showing how much charge was left were inaccurate causing the mower to quit mid-mow. The first battery I purchased has not been able to hold a charge and is still under warranty. It was registered at the time of purchase along with all my other EGO equipment. I used to be able to mow my front and back yard with a single charge. Now I need to charge it again to complete the job. Just because the battery can still be charged does not mean it should not be replaced. Imagine having to charge your car battery to go to work and then having to charge it again to get back home.
