Doesn’t last
Purchased 2 yrs ago and it’s already dead. Granted, I do use my batteries a lot, but I wouldn’t expect it to last such a short time.

I've had two other batteries for my lawn mower. One was replaced after not functioning properly. The second worked fine and still does for a while, but the bars showing how much charge was left were inaccurate causing the mower to quit mid-mow. I've mowed twice with the newer battery and it seems to work as it should. So far I'm happy. Will wait and see....

Confused!
I bought your 3000 watt generator and I am happy so far using 7.5 ah battery's. My problem is with the confusion about using the 12.0 ah battery some of your reviews say 12.o ah is not recommended for my 3000 watt generator. They recommended using the 7.0 ah.

Batteries don't last much beyond the warranty
Expensive and don't last long. Each of my Ego batteries has lasted just beyond the three-year warranty and then the charge capacity falls off the cliff. I love my Ego tools, but I hate the batteries.

terrible battery
This battery last a fraction of what they claim. 30 min vs 2 hr

Date of mfg battery
Probably a good mower but I returned it because the battery I received was 4 years old.

7.5 Amp Hour Battery w/ Fuel Gauge
I purchased a 7.5 Amp Hour Battery w/ Fuel Gauge to replace my original battery because it died. This updated version seems to have a longer run time. The fuel gauge is a vast improvement on the original unit because it shows how much power is still available. Well done Ego!

Runs the equipment well.
Used twice so far and seems to be a power house the weight is good for the mower.

Excellent Mower & Battery
While I have other EGO tools this is my first battery powered mower. I am very happy with the purchase and love the operation, quality of cut and easy folding for storage. Due to the larger battery the mower is a little heavy when not using the self-propelled feature but it lasts the full hour of my cut as promised and I can see how much time is left on the battery gauge.

Long lasting

7.5 Amp Hour Battery
great battery but expensive. I would love to buy many more if they were not so expensive.

Has more energy than me
I run out of energy before the battery runs out of energy. That works for me.

Had to replace previous battery
The new battery works great. Problem was that I had to replace my original battery 4 years into its use. This was 1 year past the warranty. Battery just quit. I love my ego mower. Really disappointed with the battery life.

Battery and charger working really well together. Battery last long, enough to cut 2 large lawn at my home. Yes, I recommend this product. - - - - - -

Fun for now
Bought about a month ago and work great. Everyone in neighborhood wanted to try it out. My lawn is small and takes only a few minutes to cut. With everyone wanting to try it have been able to pawn out my mowing to others to give it a whirl. Many of them commented that next time they go to but they may go for one of these versus the gas models.

Poor battery life.
Batter life poor compared to advertised run time. Advertised one hour running time. Only getting 40-43 minutes of running ing time. Grass not high or wet and I even push the mower to extend the battery life.

Great battery life.
Battery life is better than advertised for my lawnmower. 1st product from EGO and now I'm wanting to replace my gas powered week eater.

Use you 5 amp first
I have the mower and a 7.5 and 5 amphr battery for about two months. I just now opened the free 5 amp battery and want to use that as my primary battery as the warrany is 3 years while my 7.5 is 5 years. So far both batteries are doing fine

Okay battery
Only used it once seemed to hold a charge. Nothing to too impressive

I'm thus far happy with the product but not the service. Cannot get in touch with customer service to correct an issue to allow me to registrar the mower package I bought. I thought I had to registrar mower, battery and charger separately. Registered battery but now cannot register the total package. Need to cancel the battery registration. Can't get in touch with anyone to do this.
— Concerned owner · 30 days ago · Verified
The first battery I purchased has not been able to hold a charge and is still under warranty. It was registered at the time of purchase along with all my other EGO equipment. I used to be able to mow my front and back yard with a single charge. Now I need to charge it again to complete the job. Just because the battery can still be charged does not mean it should not be replaced. Imagine having to charge your car battery to go to work and then having to charge it again to get back home. If a replacement cannot be provided, then an adjustment should be offered.

The original battery died after 3.5 years. 5 months after warranty ran out. Very expensive to replace Almost half the cost of the entire snow blower!

I received this battery with my new 21" mower and it is a reason I bought the mower. It lasts a long time while cutting thru some tall grass.

Overall satisfaction
Received the mower with the charger and battery as a Father’s Day present. Switching over from an older gas mower. Beautiful design and about 30% less effort overall. Love it.

The price is the biggest problem
The capacity of EGO batteries is good. The price is not!!! EGO 7.5 AH battery
— Yatrgatr · a month ago · Verified
High capacity battery
Great capacity, can do whole yard on 3/5ths of battery charge. Seeing the gauge while mowing is a real plus for knowing when to expect possible slow down of self propel feature.
— JWS7 · a month ago · Verified
Well built
I bought an 800 series mower and it came with this battery. I can mow the quarter acre lot beside the house and most of the quarter acre lot that house is on with one charge provided that I don’t use the self propelled function. It charges reasonably fast, sorry I did not time it. So far I like the ego eco system.

Not totally happy with battery life
They seem to have figured out how to make these last EXACTLY one month past the warranty date. I like the tools however.
— Scott Sligh · a month ago · Verified
Meh
Am not happy with the time the battery lasts: I thought it would last long enough to so the 2 small areas of lawn I mow even at half power but it takes almost the full battery and that's when fully charged. Total time I am mowing : maybe 30 minutes; possible 45 .

7.5 Ah replacement
This is a replacement. The first one lasted 5 years. Followed instructions to try to get it to reset but still had solid red lights. It's past the warranty date so I will recycle it. The new one works well.

Batteries are too expensive. Not competitive with competitors

Great Battery Capacity
Bought this 7.5 AH a month ago with a 5 AH. The 5 AH will do the front and back yard on a full charge. This 7.5 last a lot longer. So, if you are using the Self propelled mower, it makes it back to the shed under its own power. Great capacity, and the LED Power gauge ring is easy to see what is left of the capacity. Simple and efficient design.

Good Battery Charge
The additional amperage is a plus for the other EGO items I own. I don't have a really large grass area to mow, but used only 25% battery life to do the job.

👎 customer service
It does not work. Will not take a charge. I called in and was told without a receipt you would not do anything for me. I provided proof of purchase and have not heard anything back. Not in the least impressed with the product or your customer service

4 stars expected to rate it 5
Was not able to finish entire yard on a sngle charge. Less than 1/4 acre of grass, though because of grass length I had to mow several areas twice. Also most of the yard isn’t level ground, so higher speed to get up hill and coasted down. Battery recharged quickly on fast charger. Really like the power meter indicator. Very visible.

7.5 AH Battery w/ Fuel Gauge
Ran the mower for almost my entire lot, maybe 1/3 of an acre in total. Could have used another 5 mins. Grass was extremely overgrown though so that was my fault. With routine mowing 7.5AH will be plenty for my property. The gauge is great to have. Definitely recommend.
